GiftCollege is a 100-session online certification program for gift planners. It covers all of the important gift plans including gift annuities, unitrusts, bequests, life estates, lead trusts and more. Advanced coursework includes gifts of stock, IRAs, real estate, tangible personalty and business assets.
The GiftCollege student begins the program by taking and completing coursework towards the Charitable Gift Planning Associate (CGPA) certification. Following receipt of the CGPA designation, the GiftCollege student may begin taking coursework towards the second GiftCollege designation, Charitable Gift Planning Professional (CGPP).
CGPA Course: The CGPA Course is a 50-session online course in planned gifts. GiftCollege students enjoy a flexible schedule and complete their CGPA coursework on demand. After completing 50 programs, a student may sit for the CGPA certification exam.
CGPP Course: The CGPP Course is a 50-session (post - CGPA certification) advanced online course in planned gifts, available on demand. GiftCollege students may select coursework from the GiftCollege Coursework Library (excluding coursework already completed for CGPA certification). GiftCollege will regularly make available new CGPP coursework. After completing 50 programs, a student may sit for the CGPP certification exam.
